Vol. VII, Episode 6

Kenosha Civil War Museum

Join Will as he chats with Doug Dammann of the Kenosha Civil War Museum in Kenosha, Wisconsin about why the museum would be a great place to visit if you to learn in a more immersive environment.

Kenosha Civil War Museum

The Kenosha Museum tells the story of the people of the midwestern states (Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Wisconsin, Iowa, and Minnesota) during the antebellum and Civil War period.
Learn more about the personal experiences of those people and their stories, especially those German, Irish, and Scandinavian immigrants to the area.

The Kenosha Civil War Museum features:
Original artifacts set in immersive and 3-D displays and settings.
A 360 degree theater featuring a 10 minute film about troops "seeing the elephant" for the first time.

You can visit the museum here at their website and also visit them on Facebook!
