The inside of the musket wasn't the only area that needed to be maintained. The outside was just as important. Watch and learn as Will shows us how to clean and polish the outside of the musket the way the soldiers would.

Using Rottenstone

Rottenstone wasn't an issued item. Soldiers had to purchase them from sutlers, and it was fairly simple to use.
